On December 23 and 27, New Jersey Network (NJN) will air "The Common Bond", a film about the wildlife management professionals within the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection's (DEP) Division of Fish and Wildlife. The half-hour program airs at 9:00 p.m. on both dates.

"New Jersey is home to more than 800 species of wildlife that we must all protect through environmental stewardship," said DEP Commissioner Bradley Campbell. "Many of those species might not be here today if it were not for the work of DEP's dedicated fish and wildlife personnel."

"The Common Bond" tells the story of the biologists, conservation officers and support staff within DEP's Division of Fish and Wildlife, and how their interests in wildlife management and protection extends beyond the workplace and into their personal lives. The program was filmed entirely in New Jersey and showcases many of the Garden State's diverse landscapes and wildlife species.
